TYKERB + capecitabine

TYKERB is used with a medicine called capecitabine (brand name Xeloda®) for the treatment of people with advanced or metastatic breast cancer whose tumors overexpress HER2 and who have received prior therapy including an anthracycline, a taxane, and Herceptin® (trastuzumab). Tumors that are HER2 positive make a large amount of a protein called human epidermal growth factor receptor-2.
